Your donations at work!
Thanks to all the generous donations we receive, we are able to give back to first responders in our area. Your donations provide so much love and support for our first responders. We would not be able to do what we do without you! Thank you for your support!
Back the Badge, Yuba Sutter hosted author Scott and Liz Brown as they shared their journey through a critical incident that took the life of Scott's partner Deputy Danny Oliver as well as Detective Michael Davis, Jr in 2014. They talked about how their lives changed, their marriage struggled, and how their children were affected. Their ability to be vulnerable to a group of 40 people is admirable and they do it in the hopes to help save lives or change them for good.
Peer support is phycological first aid folks, and that is how healing can start. Talk with them, share with them... finding peers with similar experiences and feelings is what allows you to see you're not alone.
We hope to host them again, grow our audience, and provide our Yuba/Sutter area with the resources and tools to navigate this LEO life. Thank you Scott and Liz! Order FACING EVIL from Amazon or contact us for a copy! There's so much to be learned from these two amazing humans.
Back the Badge, Yuba Sutter sponsored and volunteered support to the Every 15 Minutes Program held at Sutter High School. This is such an influential program utilizing all local EMS agencies in the area to share the impact driving while impaired can have on a community.

Back the Badge, Yuba Sutter has pledged to continue sponsorship and support for any Yuba/Sutter high school participation in the Every 15 Minutes Program.
